KISSS (Capillary Irrigation Sub-surface Systems) is a new generation sub-surface irrigation system designed specifically for use underground that ensures water is delivered uniformly to the soil.

Andrew Kelly of Irrigation Specialists has been impressed with the take up of the technology. KISSS is great stuff. It delivers water directly to the root zone so you can achieve water savings of up to 60% versus conventional irrigation.

Savings are achieved because the system eliminates evaporation and surface run-off and it reduces water losses caused by deep drainage.

The system is also safe, effective and efficient to use with recycled water. Hooking up to an Ozzi Kleen RP10 Domestic Household Sewage Treatment Plant allows you to reuse all your household water keeping lawns and gardens lush and green.

The KISSS system consists of a geotextile material enclosing polyethylene drip tube transforming standard drip line to a continuous water source. It distributes water in the root zone rather than seeping down and out of reach of the plant’s roots.

There are a couple of options. KISSS Wrap is designed for undulating lawns and gardens and KISSS Flat is ideal for flat areas or moderate slopes like sports fields and large lawns.
