Andrew Ryan

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science and has been an active Certified Irrigation Designer of drip irrigation systems since 2001. Having designed and commissioned drip systems throughout the Riverina for over 11 years, he understood the potential of the Irrigation Specialists and in 2006 became the major shareholder and manager.

Committed to continuous improvement and adamant that the Irrigation Specialists should remain at the cutting edge, he supports the development and introduction of low pressure, highly energy efficient, drip irrigation systems for horticulture and row cropping applications.

Interests: Andrew leads a full life dedicated to the business and his three chidren.

Mark Vogel

A walking encyclopaedia on all things irrigation. Mark has over 25 years experience in the trade. Having mastered his sales technique he now specialises in design and project management.

Mark is another to have seized the opportunities presented by becoming a part owner of Irrigation Specialists.

Always keen to stay abreast of the latest developments in irrigation design he is confident in the use of AutoCad and the more industry specific IrriCad software packages.

Interests: A gifted sportsman, Mark is one of the district’s finest lawn bowlers and multi time district champion. He is a past president of the Leeton Soldiers Bowling Club.

The avid Collingwood supporter is also a Rotarian and poker devotee.

Matt Knagge

The third member of the ownership team, Matt is a qualified fitter/machinist/welder. He has also attained his Certificate IV in Irrigation.

He plies his organisational skills managing and coordinating the various projects Irrigation Specialists may have running at any one time.

Interests: Heavily involved with the Leeton Whitton Crows, Matt is also a fan of Aussie rock legends AC-DC. He would love to find the time to pursue his preferred pastime of snow skiing. (Not a lot of that happening in Leeton of late.)

Martin van Ree

Coming to Irrigation Specialists with a variety of life and work experiences, Martin is used in a range of administration and managerial roles within the company.

His addition to the team has taken the heat off in several areas allowing the experts in their respective fields to do what they do best as Irrigation Specialists continue to grow while steadily advancing the quality service for which the company is renowned.

Interests: A keen if not too proficient lawn bowler, he is also a bit of a rev head and keen observer of Formula One and V8 Supercar racing.

He takes his poker very seriously. His motto, “There’s no such thing as luck in poker.”

Damian Lang

Former professional footballer (Sydney Swans & Carlton) Langy’s three years at a plumbing supplies outlet made him the ideal candidate to fill his purchasing role at Irrigation Specialists.

With a can-do attitude, he gets things happening in the purchasing department.

Interests: Damian combines his dedication to youth development and his love of football in his role as coach of the Leeton-Whitton Crows under-18 team.

He has also been known to murder a few balls around local golf clubs.

Darren Knagge

In over 20 years in the industry, Darren has built a reputation as one of the best when comes to the installation and maintenance of all types of irrigation systems. He recently expanded his role to take in project sales.

Darren came to the industry from a greenkeeping background. Now a qualified pump technician he’s the guru when it comes to pool and spa service.

Urban irrigation, all types of sprinkler and drip systems, poly welding – he handles the lot.

Interests: Priding himself as a dab hand on the BBQ, he is yet to demonstrate his claimed expertise to the rest of the Irrigation Specialists’ staff.

Another footy fanatic he is also into hunting and camping.

Andrew Kelly

The newest member of the team provides even more depth to the wealth of experience on the sales team. He has recently obtained his Certificate III Irrigation. Andrew's background in hardware and plumbing supplies combined with his enthusiasm has seen him blossom as a valuable member of the sales team.
